While I undergo my 40 day transformation, the exterior of the building I inhabit is also being transformed. Its hard to know exactly what is going on, besides some plumbing renovation. I don't read Chinese, so even if there is a notice around, I can't read it to know what is happening. I saw people gathered in the foyer of the apartments, but had no idea what they were discussing.
